HISTORY
Historians say that the Tebra Tower was erected by Pedro Álvarez de Soutomaior (Pedro Madruga) in 1478 and demolished in 1482 by order of Isabel of Castile and Fernando of Aragon (the Catholic Monarchs).
Of Renaissance architecture, the Tower of Tebra is characterized by its square shape and robust structure. It consists of four floors, three of them joined by a grand terrace and presents a shield of the same genre as well as a Latin inscription on top of it.
